BECOME A PATRON OR SPONSOR OF THE SLSA

The SLSA finances its projects from subsidies of the Swiss Confederation as well as from annual contributions from foundation members and income from the foundation’s assets, most of which were contributed to the foundation by Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein. These regular proceeds form a solid basis and enable the Foundation to enter into long-term commitments.

On the other hand, the SLSA primarily owes the diversity of its archaeological projects to its patrons and sponsors. From 1986 up to 2024, project-bound donations amounting to almost 2.77 million Swiss francs had been spent on the projects whilst the SLSA supported these projects with its own contributions from subsidies and non-project-bound contributions amounting to 7.88 million Swiss francs.

Due to its high scientific quality, the archaeological projects of the SLSA are highly acclaimed in specialist and media circles. By working closely with partners in the respective countries, the SLSA also contributes to the international reputation of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein abroad.

As a sponsor of SLSA, this offers you a series of interesting advantages:

  • an internationally operating company can profit from the good reputation of the SLSA. It can generate goodwill in the respective country and also make cultural relationships.
  • You have the right to first-hand information.
  • You can participate in the social-cultural events of the SLSA, i.e. lectures, various symposium events, guided tours at museum exhibitions.
  • You can use the dense contact network of the SLSA.

With projects currently underway in Ecuador, Peru, Morocco, Senegal, Madagascar, Jordan, Iraq, Albania and Bhutan, the opportunities for becoming a patron are particularly attractive at the moment. We will be happy to send you our information brochure on request.

Or support our work with a donation!

The President Dr. Albert Lutz is at your disposal when it comes to detailed information. If you are interested in a special kind of project, he will organize a meeting for you with the respective project manager.
